Visitor Jack Pearson from the GenY social club was the victor at Warwick Golf Club last Saturday but as such was ineligible for the club trophy. Good round Jack with 43 stableford points from the 26 handicap.
Therefore the winner of the competition was Slim Eldridge with another great score of 42 points which was well clear of the runner up Eddy Raets on 37 points. Next best also on 37 points was Gainsborough Greens visitor john Kemp who has been playing some good golf during his two week visit to Warwick.
69 players contested the event and the run down saw the previously mentioned players get balls along with Jamie Ollerton and Don Warrener and Chase Longley all with 36 points.
The pin shots saw Cameron Strachan on the 5th, Simon Macdonald on the 7th, Brodie Quirk on the 11th and Mal Galloway on the 16th. The pro pin saw Wayne Watt win 4 balls, Peter Farrell 3, Eddy Raets 2 along with Ted King and the last ball went to Brodie Quirk.
