Another excellent field of 73 players enjoyed the golf at the Warwick Golf Club last Saturday when members played a single stableford for a club trophy.
Shane Reid had his best game in years when he returned 41 points to win by a single shot from Ray Dudley on 40. Shane hasn't been able to enjoy as much golf as he would like but still retains a single figure handicap and his 4 over on Saturday was his best round in a long time.
Ray Dudley was the runner up as mentioned surviving a countback for that position over Mitch McLennan and Gary Millard who also recorded 40 points.
Simon Macdonald and Garry Adcock had 39 while John Brandon, Brodie Quirk, Ian Stewart and Shane Scotney had 38. Brett Donovan had 37 while Bob Lester, Drew Costello and David Brady all had 36 and the ball run down ended with Neil Moore, Mal Galloway and Slim Eldridge all on 35.
You can continue to enjoy your gold next Saturday with a single stableford event and remember to continue safety guidelines as set out.
