Well done to Jill Barnes, Di Evans and Lois Wilson our winners this year who competed in the Gertrude McLeod Winners Event at the Maroochy River Club on Monday 16th September. All enjoyed the experience playing on this new course although we hear the greens were very fast and there are lots of bunkers.

Many  thanks  to the travellers of our club for a great year of golfing. Last Friday we played our final Adam Falconer Pennants game for 2019 against Clifton and brought home 6 points out the possible 7.  This result saw us overtake two clubs to finish a credible 2ndbehind City.  Sincere thanks to the Pennants players throughout the year who were such willing and fantastic ambassadors for Warwick Women’s Golf  - Melanie McLennan (our very capable captain), Judy Lester, Jill Barnes (our driver most days), Di Evans, Liz Cockram, Vicki Bennett, Nachcha Craggs, Ros Darton, Joely Singleton, Carole Brandon, Justine Washbourne and Mary Young. Thanks also to Marg Adcock for organising the teams each month throughout the year.
