Saturday 8th December we played a single stableford sponsored by The Malthouse with the winner Rod Hanson scoring 40pts. The runner-up OCB was Shane Scotney with 39pts. On Sunday 9thDecember the annual shootout was played. This event was sponsored by Peel Tribe from Condamine Steel & Rural. We thank Peel for his most generous sponsorship. The winner was Mick Banks with the runner-up Slim Elderidge. In third place was Al Matthews and fourth was Charlie Morrison. We will be holding a shootout again next year with the first qualifying round 5thJanuary 2019. (John Dee monthly medal for January). This Saturday 15thDecember we play a single stableford sponsored by the Horse & Jockey Hotel/Motel, we thank them for their sponsorship. On Sunday we play the annual Medal of Medals which is sponsored by John Dee, we also thank them for their continued sponsorship. If you have qualified then be at the club at 11am to tee off in the final. The following week, Saturday 22ndDecember we play a medley single stableford (men or women can play in a combined competition), sponsored by Advanced Metal Products (men) and Warwick Golf Club (women).
We are currently on preferred lie through the green which means that you may lift and place your ball within 1 card length MAX of where it lay whether it be in the fairway or in the rough but you are not entitled to preferred lie in a hazard. We will be on preferred lie until the fairways recover from the application of the fertilizer.
