Good luck to all players in that popular event.
A special "get well soon"  message to our club Patron Rodney Macdonald who had a setback recently but is recovering  well at home now and expects to be back at golf in a couple of months battery powered.
Congratulations to popular members John Devitt and Yvonne Pinington who paired together for the Vets event at Stanthorpe last week and had a whopping 49 points to win the event there.
Unfortunately our Pro Sam Eaves did a  Rory McIlroy at Hamilton Island last week playing two excellent rounds and one not so good to finish third in the Pro event and just miss an automatic place in the PGA event at Royal Pines later this year. Well played Sam.
